Michael Jackson Passes Away. Michael Jackson has passed away at the age of 50 years old. This is surely an unexpected tragedy for all of his loyal fans. Jackson passed away Thursday in an LA hospital. The cause of his death is not known at this time but many are stating is could be from a heart attack or cardiac arrest.
Los Angeles Fire Department arrived at Jackson's home at around 12:30 p.m and he was not breathing. The paramedics performed CPR and took him to UCLA Medical Center.
Jackson's death brought a tragic end to a long decline from his peak in the 1980s. When he was popular he dominated the charts and sparked up the stage. His 1982 album "Thriller" still remains the biggest selling album of all time, with more than 26 million copies sold.
Throughout the years his appearance became more freakish. His nose became narrower and his skin lighter. He surrounded himself with children and was often thought of as a child molester. This new image of himself took a toll on his career.
