Shaker Heights Yearbook Cover

( 1 Vote )

At Shaker Heights High School, a student was able to conceal a farewell containing the F Bomb in the mascot drawing. This had adminstrators angry as they suspended distribution of the yearbook.

According to Cleveland.com, ” Principal Michael Griffith wrote a letter last week to students and their families explaining that distribution of the yearbook had been suspended because “an obscenity was cleverly concealed in the cover artwork.”

The school performed some “cosmetic surgery” to yet-to-be-distributed yearbooks — a few strokes of a pen that obscured the three-word farewell that seems more suitable for a prisoner upon release than a student upon graduation.

And they offered to fix any books that had already been distributed, though it’s hard to imagine anyone would have noticed the offending word without someone pointing it out. “

After looking for photos of the Shaker Heights Yearbook Cover, I could not find any.

I am sure some will surface and if they do, I will post them here.

What do you think of the Shaker Heights Yearbook Cover story? Funny or not?
