Nintendo unveils a new remote call the MotionPlus. This remote will help increase the motion detector system that the Nintendo Wii is played with.
The new Nintendo Wii Remote will be available June 8th and is called the Will MotionPlus. This new remote has gyroscopic capabilities which are said to mimic hand and arm motions near perfect.
The upcoming Tiger Woods game will be bundled with this new Nintendo Wii remote and will make gameplay much better.
Denise Kaigler, Nintendo vice president of corporate affairs, said that “We are always looking at ways to enhance the gaming experience for consumers. This was another way of enhancing the gaming experience, and consumers will hopefully choose to experience that more immersive type of game play and enjoy it.”
Although this remote will not work with any older Nintendo Wii games, it is set to work with 5 upcoming games. If this remote sells well, I suspect all new games will work with the original remote and new MotionPlus remote.
