This banana bread recipe is tasty and will be sure to impress any guests at your next get together.

For this banana bread recipe, you will need 2 tablespoons sugar, ½ tablespoon cinnamon, ½ cup butter, ½ cup sugar, 2 teaspoons baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ cup of brown sugar, 1 egg, another 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon of salt, 2 cups of flour, 2 bananas, and 1 tablespoon of buttermilk.

Preparation: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Peel your bananas, mash them in a bowl, add 1 tablespoon of buttermilk, and then set this mixture aside.

Place ½ cup butter, ½ cup of sugar, and ¼ a cup of brown sugar in a bowl and beat them until they are fluffy. Add one egg and beat until fluffy. Combine 2 teaspoons of baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon into a sifter and sift into a medium sized bowl.

Combine all the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients and mix them thoroughly.

Take a 9x5 inch glass loaf pan and spray it down with cooking spray containing flour. Spoon your batter into your greased pan and spread it evenly. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of sugar and ½ teaspoon of cinnamon over your batter.

Baking: Bake your bread for 45 to 60 minutes in your preheated oven at 350 degrees F. Your bread should turn dark golden brown and pass a toothpick test. Let your bread cool and then enjoy!
