Always listen to the Radio. Where ever you are, at work, at home, in the car or even at the beach.
Listen to the rules and clues. If you have to call at 11:03AM, then call at exactly 11:03AM. You can use your cell phone, computer, cable box anything that has the exact time. If you never try, you will never win. You will not win ever time, but once you win one time, you will be hooked. Just don’t give up.
Redial is your friend, grab your cell phone and house phone, use two or three phones at once. Have your family or friends help redial. As soon as you hear a busy signal, hang up and redial. Don’t just try once and hang up. Keep trying until you hear the winner on the radio.
If they do answer, sound super happy and excited. Show some enthusiasm. They are trying to entertain their listeners. They want someone interesting to listen too. Beg or tell a story about how bad you want to win. Sometimes, it doesn’t really matter what number caller you were, as long as you sound excited or have a story.
Every station has a website. If you sign up for there mailing lists, sometimes you will get extra clues or times e-mailed to you. Check all the radio stations in your area and see who is giving away what prize; you can switch stations during the day. One station might have call in times at 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM and the other one might have something between 12-5PM, so after 1:00 PM switch over to the 12-5PM station. Usually, if a contest is from 8:00AM to 12:00PM they are going to give the signal to call, near the end of the time, to keep you listening longer.
