
This apple pie variety is almost better than the original. Follow this recipe to make apple crumble pie.
Gather the ingredients. You will need 5 cups apples, 6 tablespoons butter, ½ cup white sugar, 1/3 cup additional white sugar, a pie shell, ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon, and ¾ cup all-purpose flour.
Peal the apples, remove the cores, and slice them into thin pieces.
Put your apple slices into the pre-baked pie shell.
Add the half cup of sugar and cinnamon to a bowl and mix well. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples in the pie shell.
Add the flour, the 1/3 cup sugar, and butter to a bowl and mix well. Spread this mixture onto your apple crumble pie.
Bake the apple crumble pie in the oven for 35 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Once the apples are soft and the crust is light brown, remove the pie from the oven, and let it cool.
Once cooled, serve, and enjoy!
