Redbox is easy $1 a night DVD rentals. With no late or hidden fees ever. This article will guide you through the process of getting your first RedBox movie and show how to even get a free rental.
Go to a Redbox Kiosks or go online.
If you want to start online, go to www.redbox.com then click on, find a location. Search your zip code to find the closest Redbox to your home. While you are at the website, join their e-mail list and get one free movie rental.
You can also search for movies you want and read about the movies. Once you find a movie you want to rent you can enter you zip code to find a Redbox near you that has the movie in stock. Then you can reserve it at that location.
Drive to your Redbox location. Choose one of the options: rent a DVD, online rental pick up, or return a DVD.
Select rent a DVD unless you reserved a movie online. Select more titles to see more movie choices. When you see a movie you want, press the movie. The next screen is information about the movie.
Select add to cart to rent it. You can add as many DVD’s to your cart as you want.
Select check out to pay and get your movie.
Swipe your credit card, when asked. You will be charge $1.00 per movie plus tax.
You must enter your zip code for security reasons.
Enter your e-mail address they use this for your receipt. First time users will have a blank address, but next time it will remember you.
Press enter to finish.
The movie will come out of a slot on the side of the Redbox. Take your movie and enjoy!
You can return your DVD to any Redbox location
Make sure to return the movie by 9:00 PM the next night or you will be charge and extra day.
When you return the DVD, select return a DVD. Put the movie in the slot on the side of the Redbox that the movie came out of, the slot will activate when you press return a DVD. Make sure the movie slides in slot before leaving.
New releases come out every Tuesday.
If you keep the movie for 25 days you will be charged for each day and then the movie is yours to keep. The maximum charge is $25.00 for one DVD.
Do not remove, rip, or scratch the bar code on the DVD.
You are supposed to be 18 years old to rent movies.
