If you are planning a vacation, you will have to book a hotel room. Using Priceline, you can get discounts off of the standard hotel room prices. Follow these steps to book a hotel on Priceline.
To book a hotel on Priceline, understand how their website works. At Priceline, you don’t choose a hotel, you are matched to one based on your specifications. You also get to name the price you are willing to pay for that particular hotel room.
Visit the Priceline website at priceline.com and select “Hotels” from the top sidebar. From there, click on “Deeper Discounts – Name Your Own Price.” Now you will be prompted to enter your destination and the departure/arrival dates at the hotel.
To book a hotel on Priceline, choose the areas of your destination that you would be ok staying in. Choose how many stars you want the hotel to have and how much you would be willing to spend per night, and then enter this into the website.
Double check your hotel inquiry before clicking “Next.” Make sure your destination, check in/out dates, and requested price are all correct.
To book a hotel on Priceline, you will have to enter a credit card and your information and then click “Book My Hotel Room Now.” Priceline will process the request and contact the hotel to see if your price offer will be accepted or declined.
If your price is accepted than the hotel room(s) will be reserved for you. If not accepted, you will have the opportunity to increase your offered price or increase the areas you are willing to stay.
